La Bufadora

La Bufadora is a blowhole and tourist attraction located at the tip of Punta Banda Peninsula minutes drive from CASA MARBELLA. La Bufadora is one of Ensenada's main tourist attractions and very popular shopping and dining destination. There are over 150 businesses operating at La Bufadora. The legend regarding La Bufadora is that a whale became trapped in the rocky point and blew water to attract its pod’s attention. Eventually, the whale turned to stone, staying there forever.

You can rent horses right near the property and go for a lazy stroll or a brisk gallop on the beach or in the waves.

Therapeutic Hot Springs Right on the Beach

5 minutes walk to the left you will see steam coming up from the beach at low tide. That is where you want your bring your shovel and start diging your own private hot tub and start the theraputic healing process for your mind and body. Be careful not to burn yourself as the water can get quite hot.

Off-Roading In The Local Mountains

The local mountains in the Punta Banda area offers 100's of miles of off-roading trails with some of the most spectacular views around. The trails are suitable for beginner to intermediate level off-roading and much of it can be accessed by SUVs and Pick-up trucks without a need for a 4 x 4.

Sports Fishing in a Panga

If you are interested in fishing there are multiple professional fishermen in the area that will take you fishing for a reasonable fee. The companies will provide all the fishing gear and bait and will clean the fish for you upon return.

The Original Ruta de Vino

Just a few miles south of Ejido Mañadero you will find some hidden gems. The very first wine making operation in all of North America is one of those gems. Santo Tomas was originally founded by the Spanish missionaries who populated the valley. In addition to Santo Tomas there are several other small wineries worth visiting. MD Vinos and Vinos San Cosme are a couple of those. While out that way don't forget to stop in Ejido Urapan and buy queso fresco from the locals.
